Cornflower ‘Classic Fantastic’

Description

Cornflower ‘Classic Fantastic’

Centaurea cyanus

All our seed is from the latest harvest and super fresh.

Also known as Bachelor’s Buttons. Looking almost frosted in sugar, this is a very special blue mix that looks amazing! Cornflower ‘Classic Fantastic’ is a favourite from our trials!

If you are growing Wedding Flowers then ‘Something Blue’ is a must!

Cornflowers are perfect for the beginner and stand up well out of water. They bloom over a long period and perfectly compliment other hardy annuals such as Orlaya grandiflora, Sweet Rocket, Ammi Majus and Sweet Peas…

How to grow:
For the best results, sow into individual cells in Autumn. This will give plants time to grow before the heat of Summer pushes them into bloom.

Provide support for nice straight stems and deadhead regularly to promote further blooms to appear.
