Cornflower ‘Classic Magic’
Also known as Bachelor’s Buttons.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the dark plum black cornflowers, so imagine my excitement when I found this collection in shades of black, dark plum with splashes of white!
Cornflowers are perfect for the beginner and stand up well out of water. They bloom over a long period and perfectly compliment other hardy annuals such as Orlaya grandiflora, Sweet Rocket, Ammi Majus and Sweet Peas…
How to Grow:
For the best results, sow into individual cells in Autumn. This will give plants time to grow before the heat of Summer pushes them into bloom.
Provide support for nice straight stems and deadhead regularly to promote further blooms to appear.
