Tried and tested by us, easy to grow and loved by Bee’s. Foxgloves thrive in full sun or part shade.

Digitalis purpurea ‘Sutton’s Apricot’ flowers from early summer, soft pink spires compliment arrangements and  look great with Peonies and Roses.

How to grow:
Sow Summer direct or into modules, don’t cover.  Seeds can be slow to germinate. For more detailed growing instructions join our ‘Grow Along’ on Instagram 

All parts of the plants are poisonous if ingested. Wear gloves when cutting and use caution around children and pets.

Cutting /Vase Life:
For the longest vase life cut  just as the blooms are beginning to open, before the Bee’s pollinate all the flowers. As each bloom is pollinated they will drop from the stem.

Once you pick the main flowering spire, leave the plant in place for a re shooting of lots more delicate bouquet worthy stems.
